Purchasing cost Summary
  • Stamp duty: 2% of the real estate transaction price or 1% in the case of shares (since January 2001)
  • Court registration fees: vary according to transaction proce but subject to a maximum of PLN21,320 (approximately USD5,000)
  • Notarial fees: vary according to transaction proce but are subject to a maximum of PLN5,800 plus 0.25% of the amount that exceeds PLN1 million
  • Agent`s fees at 2%-3% of the purchasing proce plus VAT (VAT is usually zero rated for agency services and 22% for consultacy e.g. legal fees)
  • VAT: 22% on buildings; 0% on land
