The Festival highlights the finest audiovisual productions of famous operas, ballets, and music films. Concerts are held in a huge tent with the capacity for over 1000 viewers, erected in the Royal Castle Yard in Warsaw. Since its premier in 2001, the Festival has been dubbed the Warsaw Summer Music Salon by the media. It attracts an audience of around 50 000 annually. A film series titled World Description, aims to present civilisation and humanity's cultural achievements and organise meetings with some of the most outstanding figures in Polish culture, is also due to be screened at the festival. Great artists and composers such as Magdalena Abakanowicz, Grace Bumbry, Krystyna Janda, Maria Fołtyn, Ewa Podle¶, Katia Ricciarelli, Janusz Głowacki, Ryszard Kapu¶ciński, Kazimierz Kutz, Rafał Olbiński, Andrzej Wajda, Krzysztof Zanussi, amongst others, have attended the Festival as guests.
